Since 2000, the Good Neighbours Committee has brought together agencies, individuals, and organizations that support our mission: to advocate for a diverse, welcoming, inclusive, vibrant, progressive community for all.
We provide direct supports to individuals that witness or experience incidents of racism and hate, and creatively engage the community in thinking about and understanding racism and exclusion.
The GNC operates under the administrative umbrella of the Nechako Healthy Community Alliance, a non-profit society aimed at supporting local initiatives that encourage healthy living.
The Good Neighbours Committee advocates for a diverse, welcoming, inclusive, vibrant, progressive community for all.

We respectfully acknowledge that members of the Good Neighbours Committee, who are primarily of settler origin, live and work in unceded and occupied traditional territories of Saik'uz Whut'en - part of the Dakelh nation. We make this acknowledgment to remind ourselves and to teach others about the significance of this relationship to the land, and if it weren't for the land, and its dispossession from its original inhabitants, we would not be here. Therefore, we are honoured by the continued grace of Saik'uz Whut'en to work with us to decolonize our ways of knowing and being in this place.
