MIRRORS: A Play by Lisa Striegler

MIRRORS was workshopped in the spring of 2014. It was then showcased before audiences at Burrard Market Square in Vanderhoof and Saik’uz Band Office Gym in Saik’uz First Nation. It was directed by Lisa Striegler and produced by Sylvia Byron.
This was a play about how the settler communities unconsciously perpetuate hurt against Indigenous people in our region. Each of the three performances was followed by a facilitated dialogue so that the audience could process the scenes and share possible ways to be better neighbours.
